Catalogue of fake aurei

There have been a number of fake Carausius gold coins that have appeared for sale over the last few years. I have tried to collect together the specimens as they appear on the market. The images are clickable to give an enlargement.

This was offered for sale on Ebay in February 2009. It is light weight at 2.3 grammes and is clearly copied/cast from RIC 1
